Not Afraid – Be Yourself
Not Afraid c'est la nouvelle sensation hardcore belge avec des ex Justice et True Colors ( Paco est toujours au micro). Et au final le mix est là, une sorte de Justice période "Elephant Skin" / " Escapade" mêlé aux deux derniers disques de True Colors "Rush Of Hope" et "Consider It Done". On a la rage du hardcore mid 80's, le puissance de celui de la fin des 80's et la mélodie du début 90's. 'Be Yourself' EP présente les premiers morceaux de Not Afraid, et ce ne seront certainement pas les derniers !

Cro Mags – The Age Of Quarrel
Cro-Mags est un groupe de hardcore / crossover de New York City. LE groupe qui à marqué le tournant de la scène new yorkaise du hardcore punk vers le hardcore dur et qui pue la rue du milieu des 80's. Cro Mags est également le premier groupe de hardcore associé au mouvement Hare Krishna. C'est ici leur album plus que classique, sorti en 1986, remasterisé et repressé sur vinyle 180 grammes. En bonus, 3 morceaux datant de 1984 "You'd Be The Death Of Me," "When Push Comes To Shove" et "Hard Times." Tout ça dans une classieux gatefold proposant l'artwork d'origine revisité.

Blink 182 – Dude Ranch
Blink-182 est un groupe de pop-punk américain regroupant le chanteur / bassiste Mark Hoppus, le chanteur / guitariste Tom DeLonge, et le batteur Travis Barker. Ils ont vendu plus de 25 million d'albums et sont mondialement reconnus. Depuis leur formation à Poway, California en 1992, ils ont enregistré un paquet d'albums dont "Cheshire Cat" en 1994 ainsi que celui qui les a propulsé en 1997, "Dude Ranch".

Ils définissent leur son comme du "Naughty Youth Crew". Pour moi ça ressemble à un très bon mix entre Integrity periode “Systems Overload”, Ringworm, Right Brigade ou Raw Deal.

Rock Bottom - Your Demise
Influences : Entombed “ Wolverine Blues” , Ringworm “Birth Is Pain”. Que dire de plus ? Ils sont de Pennsylvanie et jouent du holy terror bien malsain. Rock Bottom lache son deuxième disques sur Harvcore records. Avec l'arrivée du nouveau chanteur Matt Karll, leur hardcore dur et métal fait encore plus mal !

Burdens - You Can't Save Us All
Un autre groupe mortel en provenance de Pennsylvanie . Après quelques changements personnels, Burdens sort de The Skylight Studio avec 5 morceaux qui redéfinissent leur style, d'un hardcore influencé par Converge / Cursed sur leur premier disques, ils glissent vers un edge metal late 90's des plus ravageur.

Brutality Will Prevail – Sleep Paralysis
Brutality Will Prevail, jouaient à l’origine un Beatdown plutôt bien foutu. Ils ont cependant troqué depuis quelque temps leurs mesh shorts et bandanas pour des chemises à carreaux et des bonnets. Ils balancent maintenant un hardcore down-tempo, sombre, sale avec des hallure de sludge. En ce qui concerne leur nouveau LP, personne ne s'attendait à ça, même avec ce que le groupe avait proposé sur leurs précédents disques en with. Sleep Paralysis c'est 3 morceaux en un peu moins de 20 minutes. Sales, sombres, malsains et lancinants, ces trois nouveaux titres nous plongent encore un peu plus dans les profondeurs abyssales d’où semble venir leur son. Toute la rage, la haine et la noirceur du Royaume Unis sont regroupées sur un picture disc.

Ce LP une compilation de leur EPs et regroupe leur deux 1er 7"s “Common Goals” et “Moment in Time”, tous deux sortis sur Crucial Response, ainsi que leur démo “Core Values”, tout d'abord sortie en format K7 puis sur 7" en guise de première prod du label React! Records. Les morceaux ont été remasterisé par Carl Saff qui avait déjà bossé avec le groupe pour leur premier et dernier LP “Together” , attend toi donc a un son au top pour celui-ci aussi !

Noose est un groupe vegan sxe de Chicago qui tire ses influences de la vague hardcore en provenance des 80's de Boston. Ce EP, est un pressage unique sur React! records de leur démo de 2010 ( les morceaux ont été remasterisé par Carl Saff) : du hardcore dans le style Last Rights, Negative FX, SSD, en plus actuel.

Poison Planet viennent de Chicago avec du hardcore politisé vegan straight edge dans la veine SSD, Black SS, 86 Mentality, Violent Minds, The Repos, Necros ou Stop And Think. C'est ici leur démo 6 titres repressée en 7".

Deadverse offre 11 morceaux chargés de passion et d'émotion. "Caution To The Wind” pourrait être décri comme un mix de Midwestern emo, Revolution Summer hardcore à la Gray Matter ou Rites of Spring, Dackelblut, avec un zeste de Engine Down. Et oui, le chanteur Clive, est anglais, ce qui apporte une touche ala At The Drive-In également. Le batteur, Lorenz , joue également dans Beggars & Gentry. Pour les fans de Tigers Jaw, Balance & Composure, Wipers, Jawbreaker, Union Town, Rain, Gray Matter, Rites of Spring, At The Drive-In, et Dackelblut.

Quelque part entre Trial, The Mongoloids et Earth Crisis ( période Firestorm / All Out War), se trouve Worlds, groupe de hardcore formé par 5 types du New Jersey. Débuté en 2009, Worlds a dors et déjà sorti deux démo plus que bonnes mais ce 7" "Give Me Shelter" amène le groupe au niveau supérieur. Si tu aime le hardcore groovy et vicieux des 90's tu ne sera pas déçu !
